Marble Sorter
Our marble sorter sought to first sort the wood and metal marbles first using some of the magnet blocks and a fan. The glass marbles would be read using a photoresistor into three separate holding cells. Because our group was in 4th period, we had to improvise more as there was a lack of fischertechnik parts, the funnel was made out of two paper plates and though not pictured we created a "dark room" for the photoresistor as to try to get more accurate readings. We tried to utilize two pnumatic pistons and a pump, but there was issues with the one way valve so we couldn't get pressure in the chambers.

7.76-51
8. ~1.5:1
9. 20 games
10. 59.84% win percentage ^20 = 0.003466%
11. There was definitely something to the moneyball approach as the rest of the team in baseball started to use the model.
12. The management approach was a blend of both art and science, for example firing Giambi when he starts to get rowdy in the locker room. This desicion wouldn't have been made if Beane was just looking at stats and not considering the overall health of the team.
